Chicken White Handi or Makhani Handi with Olper’s Cream!

Chicken white handi also known as white karahi is delicious and buttery dish. It is a very famous dish in Pakistan.

To make it #OsoSpecil, I added thick and rich Olper’s Cream. Olper’s Cream has a rich texture of pure Balai which gives it a creamy and velvety touch. Its thicker consistancy make white handi creamy and mouth-watering.

Here’s the recipe:


100ml or 1 cup Olper’s Cream
1 kg chicken (boneless)
1 cup yogurt
⅓ cup cooking oil
1 medium onion (fine chopped)
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4,5 green chillis (chopped)
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper powder
¼ tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (roasted & crushed)
1 tsp corriander seeds (roasted & crushed)
1 tsp garam masala powder


In a wok, heat oil, add onion and fry till light golden. 
Add ginger garlic paste, give it a minute.
Then add chicken, bhoonify to change the color, then add green chillis and mix.
Add spices salt, white pepper, black pepper, roasted cumin and corriander. Mix well.
Add yogurt, mix and cover with lid for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes to cook on medium flame, add Olper’s Cream and mix well.
In the end add garam masala powder, mix and cover to simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
Turn off the flame, Its ready!

Serve with naan and salad.
