At an special price package of Rupees 15,000, a friend bought Lenovo S650 and I had some time with the device to get its performance on video for interested people.
Highlights of Lenovo S650 are beautiful slick look, 1.3 quad-core processor from MediaTek, 1GB RAM, 8gb internal storage, 4.7inch display. For graphics intense tasks and gaming, trusty Mali 400 GPU is there.
Smartphone is running Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with Lenovo’s own custom Launcher, which was smooth and carried extra options (and obviously I never learn those features). 8mp camera with LED flash is on the back and at front you have a VGA camera for video calling.
What I love about the package is accessories; especially the extra back cover comes with it. The back cover has a brilliantly designed kick stand with it.
I couldn’t check videos, but feedback from Internet community is very positive. Unfortunately I didn’t get camera results either but camera looks fine from the pictures and videos my friend made.
15,000 rupees in Pakistan seems slightly higher amount for new quad-core smartphones, but from a Brand like Lenovo and with accessories range I think it is a smart deal.
